Delicious Canned Tuna Nuggets

Canned tuna and biscuit crackers are great foods. I used both main ingredients to come up with an idea for creating a new recipe. I named it mini Tuna Nuggets dish. It’s a simple, filling, and tasty dish. Just add and combine all the ingredients needed and you will have a wonderful meal or a great snack for both children and adults. It can be served as a snack or a dish, it tastes even better when dipped in our sauce.

Description

This recipe is a combination of century tuna and skyflakes biscuit crackers. It's quick and simple to make. Just add and combine all the ingredients needed and you will have a wonderful meal or a great snack for both children and adults. It tastes even better when dipped in our sauce.

Ingredients
    Nuggets
  • 1 can Tuna Flakes in Oil (180 grams)
  • 8 Biscuit Crackers (skyflakes brand)
  • 1 fresh Egg
  • 1 Onion (minced)
  • 1 stalk Spring Onion (chopped)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper Powder (to taste)
  • Water
  • Cooking Oil (to fry)
  • Granules Seasoning (optional)
  • Dipping Sauce
  • Tuna in can sauce
  • 1 tbsp White Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Tomato Sauce
  • Cornstarch Mixture (1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch + 1 tbsp. Water)
  • 5 tbsp Vinegar
  • 5 g Spring Onion (chopped)
Instructions
    Nuggets
  1. Open the canned tuna and separate the tuna flakes and sauce. Set aside the tuna sauce.

  2. Mash tuna flakes then add minced onion, chopped spring onion, cracked egg, salt and pepper powder. Mix to incorporate.

  3. Crush the biscuit crackers (skyflakes) and add them to the mixture. Continue mixing. Add a pinch of seasoning granules (optional).

  4. In a pan, preheat cooking oil. Form mixture into mini nuggets and fry in batches until they turn golden brown.

  5. Move cooked tuna nuggets to a strainer or use paper towels to absorb excess oil.

  6. Dipping Sauce (Sweet and Sour Sauce)
  7. In a pan, pour the canned tuna sauce previously set aside.

  8. Add tomato sauce. Stir well and simmer.

  9. Add white sugar, cornstarch mixture (composed of cornstarch and water). Continue stirring and simmering until the sauce becomes slightly thick.

     

  10. Add vinegar and chopped spring onion.

  11. Serve the sauce together with the skyflakes tuna nuggets. Enjoy eating.
