Ingredients
  • 12 Chicken wings (patted dry with a paper towel)
  • 4 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 small can Coca-Cola drinks
  • 3 tbsp Shaoxing wine
  • 1 thumb-sized Ginger (minced)
  • 5 clove Garlic (minced)
  • 3 tbsp Cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garnish with chopped green onions or toasted sesame seeds (optional)
  • Red chili or chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat.

  2. Pan-fry the chicken wings without overlapping them. Allow to cook for 3 to 4 minutes, or until the bottom side turns brown. Cook the wings on the opposite side until golden brown.

  3. Take the wings out of the pan and set them aside for a while.

  4. On the same pan, saute the ginger and garlic until light brown and aromatic.

  5. Pour in the Shaoxing wine and soy sauce, stir, and then add the Coca-Cola. Stir and bring to a gentle boil.
