Ingredients
    CHICKEN
  • 600 g Chicken Brest (bite-size pieces)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 fresh Egg
  • BREADING MIXTURE
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp Chicken Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Paprika Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • SWEET & SOUR SAUCE
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 6 clove Garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup Ketchup (sweet)
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
Instructions
  1. Cut chicken breast into bite-size pieces. Put it in a large bowl and season with salt, ground black pepper and garlic powder. Mix thoroughly, then crack an egg and mix it altogether. Marinate and set aside for at least 30 minutes.

  2. In a separate bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, chicken powder, salt, paprika powder and ground black pepper. This is our breading mixture.

  3. Coat the marinated chicken meat in the breading mixture until all is consumed.

  4. Preheat cooking oil in a pan. Deep fry the coated marinated chicken until it turns golden brown. Set flame to low-medium heat. Tips: For more crispness, you can double fry it. When it’s cooked, remove it from the frying pan and set it aside.

  5. In another pan, set a fire over low-medium heat. Melt the butter, then sauté minced garlic and add ketchup. Stir to mix it. Next, add soy sauce, hot chili sauce, a pinch of pepper powder and a pinch of salt to taste. Mix until sauce becomes slightly thick.

  6. Add deep fried chicken previously set aside to the sauce. Mix it well until it is coated with the sauce. Add sesame seeds and continue mixing.

  7. Remove cooked fried Chicken Bonchon Style with Sweet & Sour Sauce – Pinoy version from pan and place on a serving plate. Enjoy eating!
