1kg kamote (Asian sweet potato) (peel and cut about ½ to 1 inch thick)
1cup brown sugar
3-4cup cooking oil
bamboo sticks skewer (optional)

Wash the sweet potatoes (kamote). Peel and cut about ½ to 1 inch thick into round slices or any desired shape.
Note: If not cooked immediately, it is better to soak the cut sweet potatoes in a bowl of water to prevent darkening.
