Ingredients
450g spaghetti pasta noodles
500g ground beef
5clove garlic (minced)
2 onion (minced)
2 tomato (diced)
900g spaghetti sauce Italian style
180g tomato paste
1tsp salt
1/2tsp black pepper
1/2tsp granulated sugar
2tbsp cooking oil
Garnish
2tbsp parsley (finely chopped)
parmesan cheese (grated)
Instructions
1
Cook spaghetti pasta noodles in a large pot filled with water; follow the package instructions.
2
Meanwhile, peel, mince, and dice the needed spices for the recipe.
3
Once the pasta noodles are cooked, remove it from the boiling point and disregard the water.
Note: Don't wash the cooked pasta if it is consumed immediately. Only wash it if it is used for cold salads.
4
Heat a large sauce pan or wok over a medium-hot flame. Add the ground beef season with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
5
Use a ladle to crumble it into small chunks. Cook until the fat renders from the meat and turns lightly brown. Remove from heat and set aside.
6
In the same sauce pan or wok, just heat 2 tablespoons of oil. Saute the onion until soft, add the minced garlic, saute it for a few seconds, and then add the dices tomatoes and continue sauteing.
7
Return the beef to the pan or wok. Then stir in spaghetti sauce Italian style, add the tomato paste, and add sugar.
8
Bring the sauce to a boil, and then lower the heat to a low setting and simmer for about an hour or until the sauce reduces in volume and thickens.
9
Once the sauce reaches your desired consistency, taste it and adjust the seasoning as needed. Then remove the spaghetti sauce from the heat.
10
Go back to your cooked pasta; there are two options. Toss it directly into the sauce or plate the pasta noodles and pour over the spaghetti sauce.
11
Garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese and serve.
12
Share and enjoy the food.
