Description

This recipe for Salt and Pepper Shrimp recipe is a delicious seafood meal. There’s no doubt that shrimp is really a delicious food, so you'll look for it. This recipe includes shrimp pieces that have been coated with flour and then fried. Toss and mix with sauteed garlic, red chili and green onions. Season it with salt and pepper powder to complete the delicious taste of the dish. This recipe is easy to prepare that you can make at home. It's a delicious and finger-licking seafood dish that goes well with warm rice.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 kg Shrimp (medium size)
  • 4 clove Garlic (minced)
  • 2 Green pepper (sliced)
  • 1 cup Flour (sifted)
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder
  • Cooking Oil (to fry)
Instructions
  1. Clean, rinse, and drain the shrimp. Remove the shrimp's main central vein if desired.

  2. Using a paper towel, pat the shrimp dry. This prevents a mushy flour coating and ensures maximum crunchiness.

  3. In a large mixing bowl, evenly coat shrimp with flour.

  4. In a pan, heat the frying oil to around 375°F.

If you don't have a thermometer, dip a barbecue stick, chopstick, or other wooden utensil into the oil. When bubbles appear, the oil is ready.
  5. Fry the shrimp for about 1.5 to 2 minutes, depending on the desired crunchiness, and then set aside.

  6. In another pan, melt butter over low-medium heat. Sauté minced garlic and sliced green pepper. Add salt and pepper powder.

  7. Add the fried shrimp previously set aside. Toss and mix everything. Adjust the taste according to your preference by seasoning it with salt and pepper.

  8. Remove it from the heat and transfer it to a serving bowl. Serve it with a side of warm rice and enjoy eating it!
