Homemade Skinless Pork Chorizo Recipe

This recipe is for homemade skinless pork chorizo. Traditionally, it is made of pork, but nowadays, it may also be made of chicken, beef, or even tuna. Chorizo in the Philippines is one of the breakfast staple foods and is very popular all over the country. There are many ways of preparing it, as well as its own ingredients and flavors. In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients, then add the ground pork. Mix until completely smooth.
Cover the mixture with plastic cling wrap or transfer it into a container and place it in the refrigerator overnight or for a couple of days for curing.
Prepare the wrapper; either wax paper or plastic wrapper should be used. Wrap the chorizo individually by scooping a tablespoon of the mixture and placing it on. Roll and fold the ends to form them. Repeat the process until it's all done.
Place them in a plastic bag, preferably a re-sealable plastic bag, and freeze them.
Before cooking the chorizo, remove the wrapper, pour half a cup of water into it and allow it to cook until the water has evaporated completely, then add a small amount of oil and continue cooking until it is fully cooked.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce. Share and enjoy, happy eating!
