Preparation:
Gather all the needed ingredients. In a mixing bowl, combine the sprite, calamansi or lemon juice, salt, pepper, and half of the chopped or minced garlic.
Add the shrimp, mix well, and let the mixture sit for at least an hour.
Cooking:
Heat 2 tbsp. of vegetable oil in a pan over a medium-high flame.
Saute the remaining garlic until a bit toasted and aromatic, then add the bell pepper and saute together for a few seconds.
Add the marinated shrimp and cook together for 3 minutes or until they become opaque in color. Toss the shrimp with the spices.
Remove from the heat and serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley, if desired.
