A wonderful choice of sweet snack; banana turon.
This recipe of turon banana with cheese fillings is a variation of the original banana turon. The Philippines most popular street food. It’s also known as banana lumpia or deep-fried banana buns. Because it is popular among Pinoys, several “Street Food” vendors also sell it on the streets. A special turon would also be topped with jackfruit slices covered in brown sugar and wrapped in a crisp lumpia wrapper. The flavor is quite pleasing and delicious.
