  1. Put sotanghon (vermicelli noodles) in a bowl and pour in boiled water. Soak it for 5 minutes, then drain the water and set it aside.

  2. In a pan, heat cooking oil over low to medium heat. Saute the minced garlic and then the chopped onion.

  3. Add the chicken strips. Sprinkle it with salt to taste and ground black pepper. Stir and saute for 5 minutes.

  4. Add cooking wine and annatto powder, then mix well.

  5. Add water and half of the chicken broth cubes. Cover the pan and bring it to a boil until the chicken strips are tender and cooked.

  6. Add the strips of carrot, red bell pepper, and roughly chopped cabbage. Continue to cook over low heat, stirring occasionally.

  7. Add the sotanghon (vermicelli noodles), soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Mix and adjust the taste and add soy sauce as necessary. Add the finely chopped spring onion and continue mixing.

  8. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve. Enjoy eating and share!
