Squid adobo or Adobong Pusit is really a fantastic delicious dish. This Squid Adobo recipe is similar to the Filipino adobo recipe that is usually cooked with vinegar, soy sauce, tomato, garlic and onion. With the addition of some ingredients like long green chili, oyster sauce, salt, sugar and pepper powder this makes out recipe more flavorful. Adobo squid may look unpleasant due to its black colored ink but if you eat it, it is really delicious. This is simple to make and is a really appetizing dish.   1. Clean and slice the squid. Season it with salt, vinegar and soy sauce. Mix it well and marinate for 30 minutes.

  2. In a pan, preheat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil. Saute minced garlic and onion, diced tomato and minced red bell pepper.

  3. Pour the marinade sauce of the squid. Stir and bring to a soft boil, then add oyster sauce and water. Cover and cook over low-medium heat for 3-5 minutes.

  4. Remove cover, then season with a pinch of salt and pepper powder and sugar to taste.

    Don’t overcook the squid, adjust the taste accordingly.
  5. Add the long green chili and continue cooking for a few minutes.

  6. Transfer to a serving plate. Enjoy your meal.
