These umami mushrooms are easily prepared in under 20 minutes. This butter garlic mushroom is not a fancy recipe with lots of ingredients. Preparation:
Slice the mushroom in half or quarters. Put them in a bowl.
Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper, add a tablespoon of oil, and toss until well combined. Set aside.
Peel and mince the garlic.
Cooking:
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the garlic and saute until light brown and aromatic, then add the mushrooms and toss to evenly coat.
Allow the mushrooms to cook for about 10 minutes, and occasionally stirring is required until the edges evenly caramelize.
Note: To make the dish spicy, just add chili flakes. Start with a half teaspoon.Taste it and adjust as necessary.
Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped coriander leaves or parsley.
