Heat cooking oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
Saute the onion and garlic for 30 seconds or until fragrant.
Add the ground pork and season with ½ teaspoon of iodized salt and ground black pepper to taste.
Add oyster sauce, stir, and cook for 5 minutes, or until the color changes and the fat comes out of the meat.
Note: Stir occasionally or as required.Stir in the tomato sauce for a minute and add water.
Add the broth cube (chicken or beef), then put the dried bay leaves in and bring the liquid to a boil. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.
Put the potatoes and carrot cubes, cover again, and cook for 5 minutes.
Season with salt and ground black pepper. Continue cooking until the vegetable gets tender and you reach the desired sauce.
Taste it and adjust as necessary.
Turn off the heat, transfer the dish, and serve warm. Enjoy!
