Preparation:
Clean and cut chicken wings at the mid-joint; wash and drain water.
Add salt, garlic powder, and ground black pepper to a mixing bowl. Allow the wings to sit for 30 minutes after mixing and massaging them.
In another mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, rice flour or corn starch, garlic powder, ground black pepper, and paprika powder. Stir.
Dredge the chicken wings one at a time into the flour mixture, then arrange them in the tray.
Coated chicken wings are ready to fry.
Cooking:
In a skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. When the oil is hot enough, add the coated wings one at a time.
Fry them on both sides over medium heat until the color turns light brown; remove from the pan and set aside to rest. After resting the wings for several minutes, prepare for a second fry.
