Preparation:

  1. Drained tofu and cut into small pieces. Then put it on a bowl and set it aside.

  2. Peel the skin off of the ginger, garlic and onion, then minced it.

  3. Cut the scallions or green onions and thinly slice the red chili. Then set aside.

  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce salt and ground black pepper. Mix well.

Cooking Instruction:

  1. Prepare a wok, pour in 2 cups of water and bring it to boil and add ½ tbsp salt , 1 tbsp of soy sauce and stir. Then add the tofu cubes.

  2. Stir the tofu and blanch for 3 minutes. Then drain water out and let it dry.

  3. In the same wok, put 2 tbsp. of vegetable oil and swirl it around.

  4. When the oil is hot, saute the ginger, garlic, onion and sliced red chili until aromatic.

    Note: Op out the chili in your ingredients list if you don’t like spicy taste.
  5. Add the ground pork and stir fry until color changes. Then pour in the sauce mixture. stir until gently boiling.

  6. Add 1 cup water, stir and cook it for 3 minutes over medium heat.

  7. Add the blanch slice tofu stir and cover the lid. Turn fire low to medium heat. Let it cook for 3 minutes.

  8. After 3 minutes the sauce reduced add 1 tbsp. of cooking wine and gently stir it.

  9. Add the sliced scallion or green onion and pour the slurry mixture.

  10. Gently stir until the sauce becomes slightly thickens, adjust it according to your desired sauce consistency. Toss it and serve it warm. Transfer to a serving plate. Happy cooking. Share and enjoy eating.
