Prepare the shrimp. Remove the main central vein, wash it to clean it and drain the water.
In a container, put the shrimp and season with salt and ground black pepper. Set it aside.
In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, olive oil, mustard, garlic, cajun seasoning and brown sugar. Whisk together the sauce. Set it aside.
In a pan, add the unsalted butter and wait for it to melt over medium flame. Add the sauce and whisk. Let it simmer for about 2 minutes.
Add the shrimp to the sauce, toss it in the gently boiling sauce for about 5 minutes, or until the shrimp changes to orange color.
Note: Do not overcook the shrimp. It will turn rubbery and not juicy inside.When cooked, garnish with finely chopped parsley or scallions to give the dish more appetizing. (optional)
