This chicken steak bistek tagalog recipe is marinated well, bursting with the flavors of spices. Adding soda orange royal to soy sauce balances the sweetness and saltiness of the sauce, giving it a distinct and unique flavor. This recipe goes well with warm rice and will certainly satisfy a family.

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, calamansi juice, ground black pepper and onion powder. Marinate chicken breast added with the orange soda royal for at least 30 minutes or more.
In a pan, preheat cooking oil. Sauté sliced onion and set aside, then fry the marinated chicken over medium heat until it turns golden brown. Then remove from heat and set aside.
In the same pan, sauté the minced garlic. Add the fried chicken that was previously set aside and pour in the orange soda marinade sauce.
Cover and continue cooking over medium heat until the soup is reduced and slightly thick.
Place the sautéed onion rings. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper powder to taste. Adjust it according to your desired taste.
