  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, calamansi or lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and oyster sauce, then soak the pork meat. Marinate it for 30 minutes or more.

  2. In a pan, preheat cooking oil. Sauté sliced ring onions for 5 seconds, then set them aside.

  3. Pan fry the marinated pork meat until it turns light brown. Remove from the pan and set aside for a while.

  4. In the same pan, sauté the minced garlic. Add the pan fried pork previously set aside and add the marinade sauce. Add enough water and simmer for 30 minutes or more until the meat is tender.

  5. Season with pepper powder, sugar and salt. Stir and continue cooking until the soup thickens slightly.

  6. Add the sautéed onion rings previously set aside. Stir, then move to a serving plate.

  7. Serve and enjoy eating! This is best eaten with warm rice.
