Preparation:
Cut the wings into serving pieces. Wash and drain them thoroughly, then put them in a mixing bowl.
Add a tablespoon of olive oil to a bowl and hand-massage the chicken wings.
In a small mixing bowl, combine onion powder, ground black pepper, salt, and lemon pepper seasoning.
Add the seasoning mixture to the bowl and directly massage the wings with the prepared seasonings. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
Cooking:
Arrange the wings in the Air Fryer tray. Cook the wings at 390 °F for 15 minutes.
Note: Let the wings cook in the air fryer and prepare the sauce.In a skillet over medium-low heat, melt the unsalted butter.
Add the minced garlic or paste, followed by the honey, and stir until well combined.
Stir in the lemon pepper seasoning.
Add lemon juice, stir, and simmer for a few minutes until the sauce becomes slightly thickened.
Return to the chicken wings; once cooked, remove them from the air fryer tray and coat with the sauce.
Toss the chicken wings with the prepared sauce, then transfer them to the serving dish.
