Peel ripe bananas, put them in a bowl and mash them until creamy, then set them aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, white sugar, and salt. Mix thoroughly.
Add 2 eggs and beat well. Add next the flour, baking powder, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract. Keep mixing to fully incorporate.
Add the mashed ripe banana and beat until well blended.
Prepare a molder, grease it with oil or butter, then pour the batter mixture into the molder.
Preheat the steamer. Steam the batter mixture for 30-40 minutes over low-medium heat. Use a bamboo stick to check the cake. Poke it into the cake and if the stick comes out clean, it means it’s cooked.
