Instructions
Preparation:
Gather all the ingredients needed for the recipe. Peel, chop, and mince the spices. Then slice the mushroom.
Season the pork chops with a pinch each of salt, pepper, and paprika to taste. Rub it into the meat and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Cooking:
Warm the pan over medium-high heat; if using a nonstick pan, heat 2 tablespoons cooking oil.
Pan-fry the pork chops for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden brown. Then take it out of the pan.
In the same pan, add 2 tbsp. of butter, then let it melt. Add the garlic and saute for a few seconds, then add the onion and saute until soft and translucent.
Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes over medium heat. Then pour in the cream of mushroom, stir until melted, and start boiling.
Add a half cup of water, stir, then bring to a gentle boil. Allow the pan-fried pork chops to soak up the sauce.
Lower the heat and simmer it for 10 minutes or until the pork chop is tender and the sauce becomes slightly thick.
Note: To get a tender chop, the quality of the meat matters. Add water as needed.Add the remaining salt, pepper and sugar to taste. Before serving, taste it and make any necessary adjustments. Stir and continue cooking for 1 to 2 minutes.
Note: Sugar is optional.Transfer to a serving plate; top with chopped parsley for garnish (optional). Serve warm with a side of steaming rice.
