Ingredients
Instructions
Clean, rinse, and drain the shrimp. Remove the shrimp's main central vein if desired.
Using a paper towel, pat the shrimp dry. This prevents a mushy flour coating and ensures maximum crunchiness.
In a large mixing bowl, evenly coat shrimp with flour.
In a pan, heat the frying oil to around 375°F.
If you don't have a thermometer, dip a barbecue stick, chopstick, or other wooden utensil into the oil. When bubbles appear, the oil is ready.Fry the shrimp for about 1.5 to 2 minutes, depending on the desired crunchiness, and then set aside.
In another pan, melt butter over low-medium heat. Sauté minced garlic and sliced green pepper. Add salt and pepper powder.
Add the fried shrimp previously set aside. Toss and mix everything. Adjust the taste according to your preference by seasoning it with salt and pepper.
Remove it from the heat and transfer it to a serving bowl. Serve it with a side of warm rice and enjoy eating it!
