  1. Trim off the bottom part of the cabbage. Remove the core. Cut the cabbage into chunky pieces and separate the stalk and leaves.

  2. Remove the head and shell of the shrimp. Wash it and put it in a bowl. Set it aside.

  3. In a pan, heat cooking oil over low to medium heat. Saute the minced garlic until fragrant, then add the minced onion and saute until translucent.

  4. Add sliced long green chilies and saute. Add the shrimp and saute until it turns light orange in color.

  5. Add water, salt, white pepper powder, white sugar, and oyster sauce. Stir.

  6. Add the chinese cabbage stalk. Cover and simmer for a few minutes, then add the chinese cabbage leaves. Cook until the chinese cabbage is soft.

  7. When it’s cooked, transfer it to a serving bowl.

  8. Share and enjoy eating!
