Ingredients
Instructions
In a large pan, heat cooking oil over medium heat.
Put the peanuts in the pan while the oil is not too hot.
Cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until the peanuts are cooked through but not burned.
Note: Cooking time may vary, and it will take longer depending on the amount of peanuts you cook. If you don’t want too much oil, roast the peanuts if desired.Once the peanut changes color to a light brown and is cooked through, immediately remove it from the pan. Use a slotted spoon to drip the excess oil.
Put the fried peanuts in the bowl of a food processor while still a bit hot.
Process for 1 minute, then scrape around the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula.
Add the milk and process another 2 to 3 minutes until the peanut butter is shiny and smooth.
Add salt, honey, and oil, then process again until combined.
Note: If honey is not available, substitute it with sugar. Start with a tablespoon, then adjust accordingly.Check the consistency; if it seems too thick, add more oil as necessary until you are happy with it.
Transfer the peanut butter to a plastic resealable jar for later use, or serve it immediately. Enjoy!
