Ginisang Okra with Chicken – Sauteed Okra Recipe

If you like okra and chicken, this ginisang okra paired with chicken is for you. You'll probably enjoy this sautéed okra recipe. This isn't your typical ginisang okra dish. This is a little different way of cooking okra than you're used to. Most Filipino recipes, including many of them, are basic and straightforward to prepare. A side of basic and easy-to-prepare Filipino meals is both nutritious and delicious. Sauteed okra with chicken breast is a great combination. It is best served with a side of hot rice.

Marinade sauce
Instructions
Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
For the marinade sauce, prepare a mixing bowl. Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and ground black pepper. Mix well.
Add the chicken meat to the marinade sauce and mix well. Marinate it for at least 10 minutes.
In a pan, heat cooking oil over low to medium heat. Pan-fry the sliced okra (lady’s finger) for a few minutes, then set aside.
In the same pan, add and heat cooking oil for sauteing. Add the minced garlic and saute until aromatic. Next, add the minced onion and saute until translucent.
Add the marinated chicken meat and saute until it changes color.
Add the cooking wine and keep cooking over low heat for 10 minutes.
Note: Add water as necessary.Add the red bell pepper strips and stir. Add the pan-fried sliced okra, soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Mix.
Don’t overcook the okra, cook it for a minute.Optionally add toasted garlic mix and it’s all done.
Transfer to a serving bowl and serve. It’s best to eat with a cup of warm rice. Share and enjoy eating!
