Description
Pancit Bihon is a Filipino sautéed noodle dish made primarily of dry thin noodles, pork or chicken, shrimp, and various vegetables sliced up. All of these are sautéed in broth with garlic, onions, and soy-fish sauce. The layers of ingredients simmer fast, resulting in a hearty, substantial noodle that's perfect for a family evening supper or a large-scale festive meal. Just before serving, add some lemon juice and scallions.

In a pan, saute minced garlic and sliced onion.
Add sliced pork, season with salt and mix well.
Cover and cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
Season with pepper powder, soy sauce, and all-purpose seasoning granules.
Add warm 1 liter of water, cover and bring to boil over low-medium heat in minutes.
Add the salted dried shrimp and bihon. Mix well until the bihon is soft and cooked.
Add the julienned carrot, sliced red bell pepper, baguio beans, chicharo, shredded cabbage, and spring onion. Mix well.
It is best to add some lemon juice and scallions then serve. Enjoy eating.
