Ginisang Kalabasa with leftover fried galunggong is another simple Pinoy dish. This is a variation of many ginasa recipes out there. pork siomai recipe pinit E Egg High Protein P Pork

This Pork Siomai Recipe is a typical Chinese dumpling. This recipe is similar to the Cantonese variety. It mainly uses ground pork and shrimp, with added mushrooms. I also used singkamas (commonly known as jicama or Mexican turnip) but it is totally optional. Leave it out of your ingredients if you don’t like jicama, or "singkamas" in Filipino. Soimai, or steamed dumplings, are easy to make and great as an appetizer, snack, or main dish. This recipe is one of my favorites because it tastes the best when paired with a dipping sauce made of soy sauce and calamansi.

Fried Galunggong Recipe with Spicy Toyomansi . Galunggong, or “ Blue Mackerel Scad" in English, also known as round scad, maachili, or shortfin scad is mostly seen on subtropical islands where it is highly abundant, like the Philippines. It's one of the simplest dishes that a Filipino household can prepare. It’s not too expensive for every Filipino family earning only a minimum wage salary. Fried is one of the most common and affordable ways to cook this galunggong. This fish is also good for escabeche, pinangat, sarciado, inun-onan in the Vasayas islands and many more. The fried galunggong remains as delicious as ever with the sawsawan dipping sauce. I ate this fried galunggong with spicy sawsawan toyomansi. This dish is not so fancy but for me, it is the best with tuyomansi and chopped red chillies (sarap anghang). It's affordable, delicious, nutritious, and simple to cook.

The kalabasa vegetable is great in taste and full of healthy nutrients. It is an excellent source of vitamins A, C, and B; it also contains a lot of antioxidants and minerals, including potassium, magnesium, and manganese. This recipe is very straight-forward. It is not a fancy dish, but it goes well with rice that simply feeds your hunger. In this recipe, we used mixed-cut chicken. Why? Because chicken with bones when simmered extracts the best broth, which makes the dish yummy.
