This easy and delicious bangus sardines, or milkfish sardines, is composed of simple ingredients like olive oil, tomato sauce, red chili, garlic, onion, bay leaves, peppercorn, and pickles. This dish is rich in protein and so delicious to eat with warm rice together with your family and friends.

Instructions

  1. Clean young bangus or milkfish and slice into serving pieces.

  2. Put the milkfish into a pressure cooker.

  3. Add olive oil, salt, tomato sauce, red chili, sliced onion, crushed garlic, bay leaves, peppercorn and sliced pickles. Cover the pressure cooker.

  4. Cook it for 30–40 minutes at 15 pounds of pressure.

  5. Turn off the fire and let it cool down before opening the pressure cooker.

  6. Serve and enjoy it or preserve it in a glass container and seal it properly.
