It is marinated in soy sauce and vinegar before being cooked. It is sautéed with onion and garlic and simmered until the meat gets extremely soft. It’s season to taste, then grated cheese is added to the recipe for that extra flavor, which makes the dish cheesy, saucy, creamy, and delectable. Ingredients

Instructions

Prep work:

  1. Cut the meaty beef into serving pieces and put them in a large bowl.

  2. Add vinegar, soy sauce, and ground black pepper to taste. Mix well until combined, and let marinate for at least 30 minutes to an hour.

Cooking:

  1. In a large pan or wok, melt the butter, saute the garlic until aromatic, then add the onion and keep sauteing until soft.

  2. Gently add the marinated beef meat and set aside the sauce. Stir and cook the beef for 3 minutes, then add the marinating sauce. Stir and cook for a minute.

  3. Add enough water to cover the meat and bring the liquid to a boil.

  4. Cover and simmer over medium-low heat for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the beef gets tender.

Note: Regularly check and add water as necessary until the meat gets tender.
  5. Once the beef is tender and the liquid has reduced to half, it's time to add the liver spread and stir.

  6. Add the dried red chili for a spicy taste, if desired. Keep cooking until the liquid turns into a creamy sauce.

  7. Adjust the saltiness according to your taste. Add more salt if needed.

  8. Add in the gated cheese; keep cooking for a couple of minutes until the cheese has melted and the sauce has thickened.

  9. Taste it and adjust as necessary.

  10. Turn off the heat and transfer the dish. Serve with a bowl of warm rice. Enjoy!
