Easy Recipe Tempura Sauce (Tentsuyu)

This flavorful dipping sauce is usually served with any tempura snack like shrimp tempura or vegetable tempura. Tempura goes great with this dipping sauce. It highlights the delicate flavors of your tempura recipes with its sweet, salty, and savory flavors. The word “tentsuyu” is the Japanese term for the tempura dipping sauce. The classic and essential dipping sauce for all types of tempura in Japan. This homemade recipe is inspired by the original Japanese tentsuyu dipping sauce. The taste is not perfect as it is, but it is so close to the original one. In this recipe, the main ingredients are dashi broth or powder, water, soy sauce, mirin (sweet wine rice) and sugar to add some sweetness. The result is awesome. The sauce enhances the flavors of the dish and balances the exterior crunch of the tempura. An excellent meal or light appetizer is complete with this dipping sauce. If you enjoy Japanese cuisine, I recommend combining this recipe with your tempura recipe. If you’re looking for shrimp tempura, click on the photo provided below.
