Minatamis na Saging

Minatamis na Saging saba recipe is made easy with plantains, locally known as “saging na saba”. This Filipino dessert is one of the quick and easiest desserts to prepare, just in a couple of minutes. Our main ingredient, the saging saba, or plantain, is a great source of nutrients, like dietary fiber, potassium, and high levels of vitamin C that sound good for our body. It’s a very simple recipe, but it’s delicious. It is very simple to cook the saging na saba, or plantains, which are simply sweetened by cooking them with a sugar and water mixture until the sauce becomes slightly thick.

You can add vanilla extract if you have it and it gives the dish an aroma. but it is totally optional. Similar to this Filipino recipe is the Saging Con Yelo, which is a variant of Mais Con Yelo, a type of dish that originated in Spain and is served with ice crushed to make it cool and super refreshing. This Filipino recipe is super budget-friendly, but as I said, it is delicious. You may serve this dessert either plain or with milk.
