Pour water into a large pot, turn on the heat, and bring it to a boil. Once the water starts boiling, Stir in sugar, salt, and lemon juice. Stir until the sugar and salt are dissolved.
Note: Add more water as necessary to fully submerge the ears of corn.Allow the liquid to reboil. Gently place the sweet corn into the boiling water.
Cover the pot and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Then turn off the heat.
Let the corn cook in the hot water for about 10 minutes, or until the corn is just tender.
Once the corn gets tender, take it out of the pot with the water drained and serve warm. Enjoy!
