Ingredients
Instructions
Wash the rice 2 to 3 times, drain the water, and put it in a deep cooking pot.
Add water, turn on the heat, and cook the rice in the pot, covered, over medium heat.
Note: If glutinous rice is not available, you can substitute it with white long grain rice.Stir if necessary to avoid sticking until the rice begins to expand, is about to cook, and begins to soften.
Add the tablea and keep cooking. Regular stirring is necessary until the chocolate tablet "tablea" has melted.
Cook the rice a little longer until it becomes translucent and soft and the liquid is reduced to the right consistency. Add the sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves.
Note: If using the "sweetened tablea", please adjust the amount of sugar accordingly.Turn off the heat and transfer the champorado to individual serving bowls. Drizzle with fresh milk if desired, then add condensed milk as a sweetener to taste.
Serve hot, and enjoy!
