Filipino Adobo Recipes
Adobo is a culinary and cooking technique that involves meat, seafood, or vegetables. The main components of adobo are soy sauce and vinegar, which are added along with garlic, peppercorns, and bay leaves, among other additional herbs and flavors used in the recipe. The traditional adobo uses meat and marinates it directly with certain seasonings and spices. Now a day, many versions of adobo recipes are circulating online; some variations use seafood instead of meat. Adobo recipes can also be made with vegetables; the only thing they differ in is that the vegetables do not need to marinate to cook an adobo. Like adobong kangkong, there is no need to marinate it; just add soy sauce and vinegar to make it an adobo dish, of course, with certain seasonings to make it flavorful and appetizing.
